The countdown is almost over. The Rolex Capri Sailing Week 2021 is ready to start in a few hours.
Organized by the Italian Yacht Club, in association with the “Circolo Della Vela e del Remo di Napoli” and, last but not least, the Yacht Club Capri, the race will kick-off May 10. Featuring a long list of participants, this Rolex Cup will last until May 20. Therefore, an extraordinary event in which different competitions will alternate for the pleasure of all fans.
Waving the flag for Italy at the 2021 Capri Rolex Sailing Week will be Italia Yacht 9.98 F Low Noise II, boasting countless awards so far. Let me list the 2015 Barcelona World Championship, a four-time win in Alassio, from 2014 to 2016, plus the latest 2021 competition. Finally, the first place at either the Dall’Orso Cup and the “Genoa Sailing Week” in 2021.
We’re pretty sure this boat will successfully represent Italy at the 2021 RCSW.
The Rolex Sailing Week Capri calendar
At the end of the competitions, the prize-giving ceremony will take place downtown, in the small yet luxurious “La Piazzetta,” the best venue to choose while in Capri.

As you can see by scrolling the calendar above, the last competition will start at midnight and under a starry sky, making the event even more attractive for either participants and guests.
Modern and vintage boats will sail different routes: the latter will sail inshore, and their halfway mark is placed in Ventotene instead of Li Galli – a two-rocks small island placed in front of Positano – for the modern ones instead.
In addition, the Tre Golfi Regatta will serve as the distance race to the ORC European Championship.
Rolex and the world of sailing
