Glashutte Original

Glashütte Original is among the most prominent watch brands in the Saxon watchmaking school. It was founded in 1994 following the privatization of the GUB (Glashütter Uhrenbetriebe) company, a consortium established in East Germany in 1951. It was the successor to the one founded in 1845 in the small town of Glashütte. Its collections embody the best of Saxon tradition, including splendid mechanical complications of haute horlogerie. The Swatch Group owns Glashütte Original.
