Chopard
Louis-Ulysse Chopard founded the Chopard brand in 1860 in Sonvilier, Switzerland, and stood out as a high-precision watch manufacturer specializing in pocket and chronometers. The brand’s history is closely connected to the Scheufele family and Karl Scheufele I. He was an excellent goldsmith who founded a company specializing in jewellery watches and pendants. The two companies crossed their paths when, in 1963, Karl Scheufele III officially acquired Chopard.
