NOMOS Glashütte Club Campus 38 for Pride
NOMOS Glashütte has just taken the curtain off a new collection of timepieces conceived in partnership with trending magazine COOL HUNTING. The project is geared towards raising funds and supporting a world-leading association whose mission is to help the young LGBTQ community.
The joint project saw the Saxon brand developing an ultra-limited series from one of the most popular and accessible NOMOS watches, the Club Campus 38. It is a three-hander featuring a 38,5mm large and 8mm thick case, thanks to the adoption of in-house hand-wind Alpha mechanical caliber, whose power reserve totals 43 hours when fully wound. Among Campus' distinctive design features is it's kind of "California" looking dial, that combines large Arabic and Roman numerals, all filled with plenty of luminescent material to guarantee enhanced readability in the dark.
The NOMOS Glashütte Club Campus 38 for Pride comes in six different dial options, as many as are those depicted on the rainbow flag: Life (red), Sunlight (yellow), Serenity (blue), Healing (orange), Nature (green) and Spirit (purple). For each Campus 38 for Pride sold, NOMOS Glashütte will donate 100 Euros to the Trevor Project association, raising a total of 13,200 Euros. Each of the 132 specimens retails for 1,200 Euros.
About Trevor Project: it is the world's largest organization for suicide prevention, offering 24/7 active support to young people belonging to the LGBTQ community, other than developing long terms projects. As stated above, COOL HUNTING is a New York-based trending magazine founded in 2003 whose focus is design, culture, and technology.
