Introducing the Bulgari Octo Chronograph watches

/

Bulgari has released the first photos and technical features of the Bulgari Octo Chronograph. After having launched, in 2012, the Bulgari Octo the maison will be officially unveiling, during Baselworld 2014, the new Chrono version. Bulgari‘s clear intent, in realising this timepiece, was to preserve the design of the Octo, a timepiece that, in our opinion, boasts the nicest and innovative steel bracelet among luxury sport watches. The Bulgari Octo Chronograph has a “V” displacement three-counter lacquered dial, with the seconds hand running at 3, the hours hand at 6 and the minutes one at 9. With the date window placed at 4:30.

What we do like even more lies inside its case, as the new Bulgari Octo Chronograph is powered by calibre BVL 328, a high frequency chrono movement whose balance wheel oscillates at 36.000A/h, has a column-wheel mechanism and a power reserve of 50 hours. Since the brand is part of the LVMH Group, we do expect this movement to be derived from sister company Zenith‘s El Primero. The new Octo Chronograph comes in three versions: rose gold on alligator bracelet, steel case on alligator or steel bracelet.
