Italy is world-renowned as the country of “Arts and Crafts,” and while Milan has set itself as the fashion capital, watchmaking is rooted in our culture, too. The main difference is that the watch business is a niche with Swiss, German, or Japanese heritage.
However, Italy was a landmark in terms of culture, fostering the global revamp of the Reverso and the trend of the luxury sports watch in steel, for instance.
Please welcome the Milan Watch Week.
Milan will take centre stage from October 4, 2024, when the first edition of the fair will take place. The most luxurious mechanical watchmakers, including most Independent brands, will welcome the media press and watch enthusiasts.
The participating brands include MB&F, H.Moser & Cie., Urwerk, Parmigiani Fleurier, and Romain Gauthier, to name a few, i.e., an array of high-end “boutique” brands, whose creations are “la creme de la creme” in craftsmanship and ingenuity.
Also, the agenda will include discussion panels. We will find out more as soon as the official one is revealed.
However, it is not solely about watches. The visitor will access a wider selection of luxury products, from bespoke tailoring to gastronomy, thus representing a quintessentially Italian experience.
Where will the Milan Watch Week open?
The event will take place from October 4 to 6th at the Terrazza Martini, a trend-setting destination in Milan. The terrace offers plenty of space and a privileged view of the city’s skyline.
Please remind that registering for the Milan Watch Week is free.
