From ZENITH to ROLEX: Jean-Frédéric Dufour
I met him last january in Geneva, where ZENITH have unveiled their first 2014 new collections. As CEO of the maison ZENITH, the prestigious manufacture based in Le Locle, part of the LVMH group. A brand Jean-Frédéric, a manager with a long standing experience at Blancpain and Chopard, just to mention a few, has been able to revamp in a few years. Today, and it seems to be more than just a rumor, Jean-Frédéric Dufour has been appointed CEO of the ROLEX group, the fourth in a row from 2008, and will replace the italian Gian Riccardo Marini, by leading the only luxury watchmaker Forbes have listed among the most powerful brands in 2013. What else?Just good luck to Jean-Frédéric on this exciting new challenge.
