Elton John’s watches cover a large group of the accessories belonging to the artist, ready to go under the hammer at the upcoming auction organized by Christie’s on February 21st in New York.
“The Collection of Sir Elton John: Goodbye Peachtree Road” includes unique pieces, suits and accessories, most of them once adorning walls and wardrobes of Elton John’s luxurious combo of Peachtree Road in Atlanta, where he used to spend some time between one concert and the other in the US, and a place where he began his recovery during the nineties.
The apartment went up for sale in late 2022 for five million dollars; yet, what made this apartment a piece of art was the impressive collection of prints, paintings, and memorabilia created by artists like Richard Avedon, Andy Warhol, Helmut Newton, Robert Mapplethorpe, Peter Beard, Herb Ritts, to name a few.
Known for his eclectic personality, on and off the stage, Elton John’s watch collection up for auction is no less attractive than the other lots, which include furnishing by Versace and countless colourful suits, too. Also, most of his watches are unique pieces.

Cartier tops the list of precious wristwatches, totalling thirteen models, including some unique pieces.

The Chopard brand watch collection is no less relevant and almost on par with the French-branded one.
Elton John owns five Chopard jewellery watches, some of them, again, grouped in the picture above.
