Horbiter® appoints the Studio Legale Scognamiglio International Law Firm and Consulting to protect its copyright-protected content.

At Horbiter® we strongly believe that copyright protection is an asset. We are the Italian digital magazine that has the most extensive offering of exclusive photos and videos, and we are firmly convinced that providing original content is a distinctive element among professional digital media. Horbiter® is a registered trademark too; it means no content can be used or reproduced without our prior written consent. However, we are aware that operating on the Internet is dangerous, and content abuse or reproduction is quite common. A few months ago, we found out that an Italian magazine “had borrowed,” for more than two years, chronograph-ultralight-hands-on-photos-price/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">some digital content currently included in one of our articles, an activity that we tackled thanks to the support of the Studio Legale Scognamiglio International Law Firm and Consulting.

I decided therefore to appoint the firm founded and owned by advocate Giovanni Scognamiglio as the legal representative to the Horbiter® brand. The Studio Legale Scognamiglio Law Firm will now on represent Horbiter® regarding any abuse or improper use of its proprietary content. Giovanni Scognamiglio studied in Italy and the United States and founded the law firm named after him in 1997. He also opened a rep office in Shanghai in 2007 and has promoted the firm’s internationalization process by welcoming young lawyers from around the world.

The Italian team also includes Senior Advocate Luigi Scalzo, who has personally followed our case, thanks to his long-standing experience in managing international copyright protection. The appointment of Studio Legale Scognamiglio International Law Firm and Consulting is in line with our growth plan and our strategy that aims at reinforcing and further protecting Horbiter®, a reference magazine for watch lovers in Italy and abroad.
