An A.Lange & Söhne timepiece is often celebrated for its first-class quality, not just from a technical point of view (let me highlight the Triple Split and the Zeitwerk, for instance) but for the exquisite detailing on their dials too. Any Lange watch undergoes obsessive development, which involves micro-engineering, extreme functionality, and original technical solutions. In the picture above, we placed two A.Lange & Söhne windows back to back. On the left-hand side is Zeitwerk‘s digital minute display, paired to a Lange Datograph Up/Down‘s outsize date window, on the right. They perform different tasks, the former jumps instantaneously while the Lange Datograph Up/Down‘s outsize date does not (the Lange 1‘s does jump instantaneously instead). Up close, you can enjoy the superb and flawless craftsmanship.
