The Speedmaster\u2019s signature\u00a0<em>\u201cstep dial\u201d<\/em>\u00a0stands out against the mid sector, as do the V-shaped recessed counters, which are the Moonwatch Professional\u2019s hallmark.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Applied indexes, wordings and hands are blackened out, contrasted by the red <em>\u201cSpeedmaster\u201d<\/em> and the <strong>matching red central chronograph hand\u2019s tip<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\" id=\"it-is-a-moonwatch\">It is a Moonwatch<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The Moonwatch White is unchanged<\/strong> at 42.0 mm across and 13.2 mm in thickness, with a 47.5 mm lug-to-lug distance. It weighs 140 grams, 6 grams more than the black model. Its sight through the sapphire glass is lovely, <strong>as is its vintage look<\/strong>. However, we would love to see it adopt a column wheel mechanism to activate the chronograph mechanism.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\" id=\"final-thoughts\">Final thoughts<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Omega\u2019s strategy to add the Moonwatch with a white lacquered dial <strong>was brilliant<\/strong>, although we believe it took too long to extend the collection\u2019s proposition. Omega aims to increasingly extend decoration across the range and add <strong>a piece of Swiss-made savoir-faire<\/strong> to a watch-speaking space and performance. The Moonwatch White approaches the psychological threshold of 10,000 Euros, with a price list of <strong>\u20ac9,100 on a bracelet and \u20ac8,900 on a leather strap<\/strong>, the second option available.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is still a great classic and a chronograph whose style is timeless and <strong>whose lacquered dial offers shine<\/strong> that no standard Professional can guarantee.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Two upgrades need to be included to make the recipe perfect, and we are sure the research and development team is working hard to
