They are at the heart of its profound identity involving simplicity of forms, rigor of colors, and innovation of materials. The Premi\u00e8re<\/strong>, first watch created by CHANEL<\/strong> in 1987 is an example of this exceptional creativity. Its shape was inspired by the octagonal geometry of the Place Vend\u00f4me and echoed in the No.5 perfume bottle stopper.<\/p>\n

In 2012, on the occasion of its 25th anniversary, CHANEL<\/strong> created the Premi\u00e8re Flying Tourbillon<\/strong> to offer women the opportunity to enter into the realm of high mechanical complications. This exceptional Tourbillon volant has been developed in close collaboration between CHANEL<\/strong> and the Swiss manufacturers, engineers and master-watchmakers Renaud & Papi (APRP SA) \u2013 the advanced research and development branch of Audemars Piguet<\/strong>. Last year, for the first time, CHANEL<\/strong> Watches has been rewarded during the 12th ceremony of the Grand Prix d\u2019Horlogerie de Gen\u00e8ve (GPHG), with the Premi\u00e8re Flying Tourbillon watch, elected best in the \u201cLadies watch\u201d prize category.<\/p>\n
