Next Sunday, in the early morning, be prepared to move your wrist watch\u2019s hour hand backward by one hour if you\u2019re living in a country where the\u00a0<strong>DST<\/strong>\u00a0(Daily Saving Time) or\u00a0<strong>Summer Time<\/strong>\u00a0rule applies. According to where the above applies, when should we set our clocks backward? If you\u2019re healthy and precise enough to do it overnight, you should put the hour hand back, one hour, at\u00a0<strong>3AM<\/strong>\u00a0between\u00a0<strong>Saturday 30 October 2021 and Sunday 31 October 2021<\/strong>. By doing so, we\u2019ll sleep one hour more than expected.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\" id=\"when-is-the-standard-time-going-to-change-once-again-in-2022\">When is the Standard Time going to change once again in 2022?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Summertime 2022<\/strong>:\u00a0<strong>Standard Time<\/strong>\u00a0will last until\u00a0<strong>March 2022<\/strong>, when we\u2019re going to get back to\u00a0<strong>DST<\/strong>\u00a0once again. The time change should be performed overnight,\u00a0<strong>between Saturday 26 March 2022 and Sunday 27 March 2022<\/strong>. As a consequence, clocks will be set one hour forward.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"panerai-radiomir-1940-3-days-Acciaio-47mm-pam736\" src=\"\/media\/CACHE\/images\/uploads\/panerai-radiomir-1940-3-days-Acciaio-47mm-pam736.4643478d0419.jpg\" alt=\"panerai-radiomir-1940-3-days-Acciaio-47mm-pam736\">If you are lucky enough to own a mechanical watch allowing the hour hand to be set independently from the minute hand, the operation is smarter and avoids slightly affecting the minutes\u2019 handset. Regarding summer vs. standard time in Italy.<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In <strong>2018<\/strong>, between July and August, the European committee discussed a proposal by Northern countries like <strong>Poland<\/strong> and <strong>Finland<\/strong>, for instance, to get this rule abolished: the poll resulted in <strong>80<\/strong>% voting for this rule to be canceled sometime soon. However, this decision was not entirely undertaken by all the countries, firstly due to different geographical positions. Among those belonging to Central and Southern Europe, for example, behaviors were slightly different: <strong>Italy<\/strong> has filed a formal request to keep the current rule, consisting of six months under <strong>DST<\/strong>, and the remaining six, under <strong>standard time<\/strong>, to help maximize energy saving.
