So far, at least. The <strong>WTB<\/strong> (Why the best) <strong>Hotels<\/strong> chain is the only hotel chain to have ever opened two hotels whose name is pretty clear: the <strong>Hotel<\/strong> <strong>L<\/strong>\u2018<strong>Orologio<\/strong> (The Watch).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"hotel-orologio-firenze-bar-fumo\" src=\"\/media\/CACHE\/images\/uploads\/hotel-orologio-firenze-bar-fumo.a84243386970.jpg\" alt=\"hotel-orologio-firenze-bar-fumo\">What is all about? The company has opened two watch-themed hotels, the former based in <strong>Florence<\/strong>, the latter in <strong>Venice<\/strong>, where each piece of furniture is a direct or indirect nod to horology, and its most relevant brands also: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.horbiter.com\/en\/patek-philippe\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Patek Philippe<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.horbiter.com\/en\/patek-philippe\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Rolex<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.horbiter.com\/en\/vacheron-constantin\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Vacheron Constantin<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.horbiter.com\/en\/audemars-piguet\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Audemars Piguet<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\" id=\"the-hotel-l%e2%80%99orologio-firenze\">The Hotel L\u2019Orologio Firenze.<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>Hotel<\/strong> <strong>L<\/strong>\u2018<strong>Orologio<\/strong> <strong>Firenze<\/strong> is located in <strong>Piazza Santa Maria Novella<\/strong>, in the heart of the historic area and not that far from the shop once known as the <strong>Orologeria Svizzera<\/strong>, that has been transformed into the most important <a href=\"https:\/\/www.horbiter.com\/en\/panerai\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Panerai<\/strong><\/span><\/a> boutique across the world. It is a four-star hotel whose floors are each dedicated to a specific watch brand: <strong>Rolex<\/strong>, <strong>Vacheron Constantin<\/strong>, and <strong>Patek Philippe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"hotel-orologio-firenze-lobby\" src=\"\/media\/CACHE\/images\/uploads\/hotel-orologio-firenze-lobby.8818f9ee8e6d.jpg\" alt=\"hotel-orologio-firenze-lobby\">As you step into the lobby, a large <strong>Vacheron Constantin<\/strong> is placed on the upper right-hand side and displays local time. The rooms\u2019 handles are in the shape of a watch\u2019s hands, and you open the water by rotating knobs whose design mimics a winding crown\u2019s. The walls are decorated with prints that represent <strong>Patek<\/strong> watches and their Chrono calibers or the brand\u2019s signature <em>\u201ccloisonn\u00e9\u201d<\/em> painting on the dial.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"hotel-orologio-firenze-sauna\" src=\"\/media\/CACHE\/images\/uploads\/hotel-orologio-firenze-sauna.61ad60f48a7e.jpg\" alt=\"hotel-orologio-firenze-sauna\">The common spaces pay tribute to <strong>Audemars Piguet<\/strong>, whose <strong>Royal Oak<\/strong> collection is reproduced on a print placed next to the sauna entrance. Watches and watchmaking on the inside are paired to the breathtaking view of the <em>\u201cBasilica\u201d<\/em> you can enjoy while sitting inside the breakfast area, fourth floor.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\" id=\"the-hotel-l%e2%80%99orologio-venezia\">The Hotel L\u2019Orologio Venezia.<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>WTB<\/strong> <strong>Hotel<\/strong> chain chose a strategic position when it opened the Venetian chapter also.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"hotel-orologio-venezia-esterni\" src=\"\/media\/CACHE\/images\/uploads\/hotel-orologio-venezia-esterni.31efa66a27a8.jpg\" alt=\"hotel-orologio-venezia-esterni\">The <strong>Hotel<\/strong> <strong>L<\/strong>\u2018<strong>Orologio Venezia<\/strong> is located amidst the <strong>Canal Grande<\/strong>, close to the <strong>Rialto Bridge<\/strong>. Again, it is a four-star hotel like its Florentine counterpart but showcases modern building and furniture instead.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"hotel-orologio-venezia-toilette\" src=\"\/media\/CACHE\/images\/uploads\/hotel-orologio-venezia-toilette.570da5168d0d.jpg\" alt=\"hotel-orologio-venezia-toilette\">Some features make it even more appealing than its sibling: did you notice that the bathroom mirrors, for example, perfectly replicate a <strong>Royal Oak Offshore<\/strong>\u2018s octagonal ceramic bezel?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"hotel-orologio-venezia-reception\" src=\"\/media\/CACHE\/images\/uploads\/hotel-orologio-venezia-reception.516051696894.jpg\" alt=\"hotel-orologio-venezia-reception\">The reception welcomes customers with plenty of instruments, clocks, and items related to the world of horology, whereas the wall is adorned with a row of world timers.
