The Maison is thus extending the-cushion-dial-in-a-round-case product portfolio, geared towards women whose current <strong>42mm Piaget Polo<\/strong> looks just \u201ctoo much\u201d. Despite <strong>Piaget<\/strong> not disclosing any target audience (nonetheless, photos speak for themselves), you won\u2019t deny the new offering is a call to action to women and the Far East, although one option might equally please him and her.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"piaget-polo-36mm-rose-gold\" src=\"https:\/\/www.horbiter.com\/media\/CACHE\/images\/uploads\/piaget-polo-36mm-rose-gold.f868f85f2f21.jpeg\" alt=\"piaget-polo-36mm-rose-gold\">In contrast, when I look at some markets and their customers, I won\u2019t be surprised to see some men getting off a <strong>Piaget<\/strong> boutique with a <strong>gold Piaget Polo 36 with diamonds<\/strong> on their wrists. As far as new size concerns, I\u2019ll preferably list the <strong>Polo 36 <\/strong>as a unisex timepiece; in my circle, most friends would add a <strong>Polo<\/strong> to their collection, yet they consider the 42 mil iteration too big, and they usually won\u2019t buy anything over <strong>37 mm<\/strong> in size instead. Therefore, I won\u2019t be surprised to see the blue-dial steel option with baguette diamonds on white gold indexes become a hot seller among watch enthusiasts across some European markets. As stated above, the <strong>Piaget Polo 36<\/strong> comes standard in multiple options, including <strong>pink gold with an alligator leather strap<\/strong> <strong>or H-shaped bracelet<\/strong> and a <strong>premium fully paved edition<\/strong> (with or without bracelet). Colour choices and materials pay tribute to <strong>Piaget<\/strong>\u2018s ultra-classic approach to watchmaking and the 80s, where yellow gold was vastly popular (and still is, if you opt for sister company Cartier).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"piaget-polo-36mm-steel-blue-dial\" src=\"https:\/\/www.horbiter.com\/media\/CACHE\/images\/uploads\/piaget-polo-36mm-steel-blue-dial.2fc43f010e75.jpeg\" alt=\"piaget-polo-36mm-steel-blue-dial\">The <strong>36 mm<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Polo<\/strong>\u00a0is a scaled-down <strong>Polo 42<\/strong>; proportions are unchanged. It means the new ones preserve a feat I\u2019d redesign moving forward: the fat and too large bezel. From a technical point of view, the <strong>Piaget Polo 36<\/strong> adopts a somewhat different movement than its <strong>1190<\/strong> sibling, i.e. the calibre <strong>Piaget 501P1<\/strong>. It is an evolution of the <strong>530P calibre<\/strong> with a <strong>4Hz frequency<\/strong> and <strong>40 hours of power reserve<\/strong>. They\u2019re standard specifications for a luxury watch. I would instead recommend you take a look at the high-end finishes throughout, and I\u2019ll never stop praising <strong>Piaget<\/strong> for their lovely finished calibres as I did on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.horbiter.com\/en\/piaget-baume-mercier-three-shades-blue\/#The%20Piaget%20Polo%20Chronograph%20Blue%20Panda\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Piaget Polo Chronograph<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, for instance. In this regard, <strong>Piaget<\/strong> pursues an <em>\u201cold school\u201d<\/em> approach capable of pleasing the most demanding watch connoisseur.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"piaget-polo-36mm-rose-gold-2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.horbiter.com\/media\/CACHE\/images\/uploads\/piaget-polo-36mm-rose-gold-2.7629a31d99e7.jpeg\" alt=\"piaget-polo-36mm-rose-gold-2\">The <strong>501P1<\/strong> is beautifully finished inside and out, featuring <strong>circular Geneva waves<\/strong> on either winding mass and bridges, along with <strong>bevelled angles<\/strong> and <strong>blued screws<\/strong>. Add the hallmark <strong>Piaget<\/strong> coat of arms, and you end up staring at an exquisite mechanical movement, whose size is proof positive of <strong>Piaget<\/strong>\u2018s expertise in crafting thin calibres. Measuring just <strong>8.8mm<\/strong>, in thickness, the <strong>Piaget Polo 36<\/strong>\u2018s case shaves <strong>0.6mm off<\/strong> <strong>a 42 mm standard model<\/strong>. It\u2019s a pity the new one is half as much water-resistant, stopping at <strong>5 atm<\/strong>. Sticker prices start\u00a0at <strong>13,500 Euros<\/strong> for the steel <strong>Polo<\/strong>\u00a0and ramps up to <strong>65,000 Euros<\/strong> for the <strong>fully paved Polo 36 with strap<\/strong>. In summary, the <strong>Piaget<\/strong> <strong>Polo 36<\/strong> confirms the brand\u2019s commitment to grow further and develop the <strong>Polo<\/strong> collection, and I look forward to one more product range, placed in between big and small <strong>Polos<\/strong>.
