Nomos Glash\u00fctte<\/strong> unveiled four new product novelties at Watches and Wonders 2021<\/strong>, involving three core collections. In the first half of this year\u2019s new portfolio, the Tangente<\/strong> ranks first since it comes in two new variations, but a new Metro<\/strong> deserves first-page news instead. The Nomos Club Campus<\/strong>, which represents Nomos<\/strong>\u2018 first price offering, comes in two new color palettes. Please find them below listed by product and collection; sorted by relevance, from my perspective:<\/p>\n

<\/a>Metro neomatik 41 Update<\/h2>\n

The new Nomos Glash\u00fctte Metro neomatik 41 Update<\/strong> is the most prominent evolution of a Nomos Metro<\/strong> since the collection hit the market; it welcomes a date complication placing it on par with the Tangente Update<\/strong> from a technical standpoint. The term \u201cUpdate\u201d<\/em> refers to Nomos<\/strong> watches housing a patented date complication consisting of an annular day-of-the-month display arranged on the outermost part of the dial. Showcasing a 41 mm case<\/strong> for the first time, the Metro neomatik 41 Update<\/strong> is the most technically refined Metro<\/strong> ever.<\/p>\n

\"metro-neomatik-41-update-2\"Compared to its Tangente-based counterpart, a Metro<\/strong> looks smoother while offering the exact technical specifications, as far as the mechanical movement concerns. The Tangente<\/strong> features an edgy design and a full flat glass, whereas the Metro neomatik 41 Update<\/strong> houses a glass box and wire lugs. It is powered by an in-house caliber DUW 6101<\/strong> whose date can jump forwards or backward and is enhanced by orange markers surrounding the current day of the week.<\/p>\n

\"metro-neomatik-41-update\"Finally, the 6101<\/strong> is aesthetically very pleasing, too, offering an embossed gold-plated engraving atop the winding mass. At 40.5 mm<\/strong> across and with a 9.1 mm<\/strong> thickness, the Nomos Glash\u00fctte Metro neomatik 41 Update<\/strong> retails for 3500 Euros<\/strong>; I\u2019m eager to get my hands on one anytime soon.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Tangente neomatik 41 Update Midnight Blue<\/h2>\n

The Tangente<\/strong> is among Nomos<\/strong>\u2018 top-selling collections; the 42 mm<\/strong> case option also introduced its Sport<\/strong> steel bracelet. The Tangente<\/strong> Update<\/strong> is a placeholder in Nomos<\/strong>\u2018 offering, and, as stated above, the same DUW 6101 caliber<\/strong> is now equipping the 2021 Metro Update<\/strong>. It comes standard in two dial options: silver<\/strong> or ruthenium<\/strong>. The brand\u2019s range extender is the Tangente Update midnight blue<\/strong>, which follows the likes of the\u00a0Nomos Glash\u00fctte Tangente Midnight Blue<\/span><\/a> <\/strong>(35 mm and\u00a038 mm).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Compared to the new Metro Update<\/strong>, the Tangente wins hands down in terms of overall size measuring 7.8 mm<\/strong> in thickness against 9.1 mm<\/strong>. The Tangente neomatik 41 Midnight blue<\/strong> Update<\/strong> retails for 3200 Euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Tangente 38 \u2013 50 years of Doctors without Borders<\/h2>\n

The Saxon brand\u2019s support to charities and NGOs is unrivaled in the industry. It is no coincidence Nomos<\/strong> actively helps the Nobel Peace Prize NGO \u201cDoctors Without Borders.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\"tangente-38-50-ans-de-medecins-sans-frontieres-3\"By introducing the Tangente 38 \u2013 50 years of Doctors Without Borders<\/strong>, Nomos Glash\u00fctte<\/strong> is following up the project carried out with the Ahoi for Doctors Without Borders<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.\u00a0MSF<\/strong> turns fifty in 2021<\/strong>, and Nomos<\/strong> is therefore celebrating by marketing 2021 pieces<\/strong> of a special Alpha-powered Tangente<\/strong>, sporting a red-colored numeral at twelve and a white dial with blackened hands on top.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Club Campus Future Orange and Absolute Gray<\/h2>\n

The Club Campus<\/strong> holds as Nomos<\/strong>\u2018 \u201cgraduation watch\u201d<\/em> and the most affordable offering ever. Its style sets it apart from the signature Bauhaus-driven design language while offering the same standards as any Nomos<\/strong> watch. The Club Campus<\/strong> watches are mostly hand-wound and adopt the Alpha caliber, which is still the highest-volume produced mechanical movement.<\/p>\n

\"club-campus-und-club-campus-38-absolute-grey-and-future-orange\"Nomos Glash\u00fctte<\/strong> adds two color options: \u201cFuture Orange\u201d<\/em> and \u201cAbsolute Gray,\u201d<\/em> coming in two case sizes: 36 and 38 millimeters<\/strong>. Orange is not new if you\u2019re familiar with the brand; it once appeared when Nomos<\/strong> released the Club Campus 38 for Pride<\/strong><\/span><\/a> in August 2020<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
