With the holiday season coming up next, expect lots of new diving watches to hit the spot, with new <strong>Citizen Promaster<\/strong> timepieces to hit the stores sometime soon. However, the headline news is that <strong>Citizen<\/strong>, as a group, releases new mechanical movements. It sounds as strange as it looks more than welcome, given how massive their effort to make the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.horbiter.com\/en\/citizen-eco-drive\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color:#0000ff\"><strong>Eco-Drive<\/strong><\/span><\/a> mainstream across the offering was so far.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong><a href=\"#Citizen%20Promaster%202021\">Citizen Promaster 2021<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><a href=\"#Citizen%20Supertitanium%202021\"><strong>Citizen Supertitanium 2021<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align:justify\" id=\"citizen-promaster-2021\"><a name=\"Citizen%20Promaster%202021\">Citizen Promaster 2021<\/a><\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"text-align:justify\" id=\"citizen-promaster-mechanical-diver-200m\"><strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">Citizen Promaster Mechanical Diver 200M<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>Promaster<\/strong> is a brand within the brand; there's no mistaking, and it has a distinctive sports pedigree. The <strong>Citizen Promaster<\/strong> class of products comes loaded with technical innovations geared towards the most demanding professionals looking for a unique style as much as superior technical specs. To my great surprise, <strong>Citizen<\/strong> has created the <strong>Series 8<\/strong> of mechanical watches by launching a new lineup of mechanical timepieces (you'll find out about the new Series 8 in a separate post). With that said, the <strong>Promaster<\/strong> family adds new mechanical diving watches, the <strong>Citizen Promaster Mechanical Diver's 200M Supertitanium<\/strong>: boasting a rugged contemporary design, they adopt <strong>caliber Citizen 9051<\/strong> capable of withstanding <strong>magnetic fields up to 16,000A\/m<\/strong> and come on rubber or <strong>Supertitanium<\/strong> bracelet:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"citizen-promaster-series-8-nb6004-08e\" src=\"\/media\/CACHE\/images\/uploads\/citizen-promaster-series-8-nb6004-08e.27ae82df238c.jpg\" style=\"width:100%\" title=\"citizen-promaster-series-8-nb6004-08e\"><strong>Citizen<\/strong> has globally launched three references of the new <strong>Promaster Series 8 Mechanical Diver's<\/strong>, but as long as the Italian market concerns, those pictured above are the only options available in my home country. The designers drew inspiration from legendary timepieces like the never-forgotten <strong>1982 Citizen Promaster 1300m<\/strong>, a collector's piece. Outside Italy, <strong>Citizen<\/strong> has introduced a modern iteration of the original timepiece, too, yet powered by <strong>Eco-Drive<\/strong> technology. While looking at the dial, the <strong>Citizen<\/strong> watches die-hard fans will undoubtedly recognize a <strong>Citizen Ecozilla<\/strong> or <strong>Citizen Autozilla<\/strong> touch. The dial is a nod to the divers-admired <strong>Citizen Diver Promaster AutoZilla NH6930<\/strong>\u2013<strong>09FB<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"citizen-promaster-series-8-nb6004-08e-2\" src=\"\/media\/CACHE\/images\/uploads\/citizen-promaster-series-8-nb6004-08e-2.6b91a9496064.jpg\" style=\"width:100%\" title=\"citizen-promaster-series-8-nb6004-08e-2\">The watch measures <strong>46mm<\/strong> across and is <strong>15,3mm<\/strong> thick; it has a complete Supertitanium construction with the bezel adopting <strong>Duratect<\/strong> <strong>MRK<\/strong> treatment, thus combining lightweight and scratch resistance throughout. The new <strong>Promaster Series 8 Mechanical Diver's<\/strong> is <strong>ISO<\/strong> <strong>6425<\/strong> compliant, and the <strong>9501 caliber<\/strong> ensures a <strong>-10 to +20 seconds per day accuracy<\/strong>. Retail prices are as follows: <strong>698 Euros<\/strong> on a rubber strap and <strong>798 Euros<\/strong> with a bracelet.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align:justify\" id=\"citizen-promaster-aqualand-chronograph-200m-diver\"><strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">Citizen Promaster Aqualand Chronograph 200M Diver<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">With the new references <strong>BJ2167<\/strong>\u2013<strong>03E<\/strong>, <strong>BJ2168<\/strong>\u2013<strong>01E<\/strong>, and <strong>BJ2169<\/strong>\u2013<strong>08E<\/strong>, <strong>Citizen<\/strong> is launching a new generation of <strong>ISO 6425<\/strong> certified diving watches, featuring <strong>a depth gauge and a chronograph<\/strong>. The new <strong>Citizen Promaster Aqualand Chronograph Diver's<\/strong> collection is worth its predecessor, the long-gone <strong>Citizen Promaster BJ2128<\/strong>\u2013<strong>05E<\/strong> generation. The new generation comes in three color options, one of them also available as a limited edition exclusive package.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"citizen-promaster-bj216703e-bj216803e-bj216903e\" src=\"\/media\/CACHE\/images\/uploads\/citizen-promaster-bj216703e-bj216803e-bj216903e.feca620cd930.jpg\" style=\"width:100%\" title=\"citizen-promaster-bj216703e-bj216803e-bj216903e\">The new <strong>Promaster Aqualand Chronograph Diver's<\/strong> is impressive, with its <strong>50mm<\/strong> large and <strong>15,9mm<\/strong> thick case, even more so when we consider it solely comes in steel. Powered by the <strong>Eco-Drive 740 caliber<\/strong>, it offers a chronograph and a depth gauge device like the current <strong>BJ2111<\/strong>\u2013<strong>08E<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"citizen-promaster-bj216703e\" src=\"\/media\/CACHE\/images\/uploads\/citizen-promaster-bj216703e.48cd07f1dd00.jpg\" style=\"width:100%\" title=\"citizen-promaster-bj216703e\">The <strong>caliber 740<\/strong> runs for <strong>60 days when fully wound<\/strong> and provides a comprehensive list of functions, making it the complete <strong>Promaster<\/strong> if you're going underwater. The retail price is\u00a0<strong>598 Euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align:justify\" id=\"citizen-supertitanium-2021\"><a id=\"Citizen Supertitanium 2021\" name=\"Citizen%20Supertitanium%202021\">Citizen Supertitanium 2021<\/a><\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"text-align:justify\" id=\"citizen-chrono-supertitanium-2021\"><strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">Citizen Chrono Supertitanium 2021<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">The Japanese brand unveils a new <strong>Supertitanium<\/strong> chronograph in three color options: blue, black, and green. At first glance, and based upon press photos, it seems <strong>Citizen<\/strong> aims at raising the bar, taking attention to detail to new heights. Look, for example, at the slightly beveled lugs or the applied indexes paired with a satin finish.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"citizen-crono-supertitanio-ca4490-85l-ca4491-82e-ca4497-86x.298c288270ce\" src=\"\/media\/CACHE\/images\/uploads\/citizen-crono-supertitanio-ca4490-85l-ca4491-82e-ca4497-86x.298c288270ce.jpg\" style=\"width:100%\" title=\"citizen-crono-supertitanio-ca4490-85l-ca4491-82e-ca4497-86x.298c288270ce\">The crystal is sapphire, and the movement runs for nine months when fully charged. Offering a <strong>1\/9 of a second chronograph<\/strong> function, the mechanical movement is housed in a <strong>42mm<\/strong> case, waterproof to up to <strong>10 atm<\/strong>.
