We expect therefore Audemars Piguet<\/strong> to reorganize the current collections, reduce their quantities and leave room to the new CODE 11<\/strong>.59<\/strong> collection, something that will undoubtedly affect the Royal Oak<\/strong> collection, and its long list of product codes, too.<\/p>\n

\"audemars-piguet-royal-oak-jumbo-extra-thin-white-gold-pink-gold-dial-ref-15202bc\"No mention was made, in the official press release, to any new Royal Oak Jumbo<\/strong>, yet Audemars Piguet<\/strong> released a new version of its coveted reference 15202<\/strong>, the Royal Oak Jumbo Extra<\/strong>\u2013Thin<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. Super classy, yet almost provocatively inspired by the Seventies, the Royal Oak Jumbo Extra<\/strong>\u2013Thin<\/strong> is the quintessential Royal Oak<\/strong> and featured seven variants\u00a0before the SIHH 2019<\/strong> officially broke cover.<\/p>\n

\"audemars-piguet-royal-oak-jumbo-extra-thin-white-gold-pink-gold-dial-ref-15202bc-uno\"Audemars Piguet <\/strong>has unveiled a new Royal Oak Jumbo Extra<\/strong>\u2013Thin<\/strong> featuring a pink gold dial<\/strong> and Petite Tapisserie<\/strong> motif. The dial is not any hot news in the brand\u2019s history.<\/p>\n

Audemars Piguet<\/strong> already launched a similar dial design when it celebrated the Royal Oak<\/strong>\u2018s 20<\/strong>th<\/sup> Anniversary<\/strong> back in 1992<\/strong>, but the differences between those two timepieces are not so negligible.\u00a0The \u201cAudemars Piguet<\/strong>\u201d\u00a0lettering on the dial has a different font, and the AP logo<\/strong> is now applied and positioned close to the white gold baton hour marker placed at six o\u2019clock.<\/p>\n

\"audemars-piguet-royal-oak-jumbo-extra-thin-white-gold-pink-gold-dial-ref-15202bc-sei\"On top of that, in comparison to the commemorative limited edition watch, the date window is the same color as the dial, although I think the font\u2019s style and size look weird, and not in line with the overall dial\u2019s clean and geometric design. Some call it a salmon dial, but I am afraid I have to disagree. Hands-on, it has hues that tend towards champaign<\/strong> rather than salmon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"audemars-piguet-royal-oak-jumbo-extra-thin-white-gold-pink-gold-dial-ref-15202bc-due\"The 39mm<\/strong> case is in white gold<\/strong>, and the combination with the dial makes it today the most attractive mix ever seen, in my opinion. Again, if designers had removed the date window, this Jumbo<\/strong> would have been perfect from any angle. Once on the wrist, it confirms the pluses of the Jumbo<\/strong> version that make the 41mm<\/strong> version look hefty, in comparison: it is incredibly comfortable and has a rare mix of class and sportiness that makes it perceive very much like the original version.<\/p>\n

Just 8mm<\/strong> thick, the Royal Oak Jumbo Extra-Thin Pink Gold Dial<\/strong> is powered by the 2,75Hz<\/strong> manufactured caliber 2121<\/strong> with 40 hours of maximum power reserve<\/strong> (not so much though, yet not the reason why you actually buy this watch) and has been produced in just 75 pieces<\/strong> each of them priced at $55,400<\/strong> which, as you might guess, have all gone already.<\/p>\n
