That strategy, that is all about drawing inspiration from fields that are not strictly related to watch-making, has reaffirmed once again Rado<\/strong>\u2018s position as a trend-setter as much as it is already a leader in product innovation, this year.<\/p>\n

\"Rado-Grandi-Giardini-italiani-Event-Entrance\"That project added a new chapter this year by linking Rado<\/strong> watches with Grandi Giardini Italiani<\/strong>, an organization led by Judith<\/strong> Wade<\/strong>, that looks after our artistic heritage and that, as Judith<\/strong> underlined during the press event dinner held the 24 May<\/strong> at Villa<\/strong> Gamberaia<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, does not just\u00a0preserve the Italian artistic heritage but safeguards also our tradition in creating beautiful gardens, animated by perfect geometries that surround the seemingly imperfect ones offered by our nature.<\/p>\n

Villa Gamberaia, the home to the Rado True Thinline\u00a0Nature Collection<\/h2>\n

There are plenty of historic villas in Italy<\/strong> and many of them, along with their gardens, are actually curated by Grandi Giardini Italiani<\/strong><\/span><\/a>: the organization looks after 135 buildings<\/strong>, located across 12 different Italian regions<\/strong>, that are visited every year by 8 million people<\/strong>, a number that testifies the unstoppable passion for our artistic heritage.<\/p>\n

\"Rado-True-Thin-Line-Nature-green\"On the occasion of the International Press Launch<\/strong> of the True Thinline\u00a0Nature<\/strong><\/span> collection, Rado<\/strong> chose Villa Gamberaia<\/strong>, a splendid villa built in the early \u2018600, which offers a privileged view over Florence<\/strong> and the Valley<\/strong> of river Arno<\/strong> (and where you can also rent a room and spend, if you prefer, your holidays), as a location for the event.<\/p>\n

\"Rado-Grandi-Giardini-italiani-Villa-Gamberaia\"Proof positive of the organization\u2019s committment in preserving such gardens and in fostering the culture of garden\u2019s care and restoration, Grandi Giardini Italiani<\/strong> organizes every year garden-design-related\u00a0workshops. Villa Gamberaia<\/strong> has been chosen by Rado<\/strong>\u00a0as\u00a0the location to host the International Press Media representatives and officially launch the True Thinline\u00a0Nature<\/strong> collection, whereas Horbiter<\/strong>\u00ae has been officially assigned by the Italian head office of the Swiss brand the task to cover the event, \u2013\u00a0we have successfully summarized in a video that celebrates the union between the nature of the gardens and the True Thinline<\/strong> collection.<\/p>\n

About the\u00a0Nature Collection<\/h2>\n

The Rado True Thinline<\/strong>\u00a0is not simply the thinnest ceramic watch in the world and is not any news in\u00a0Rado<\/strong> current offering; the big news here is the launch of the new\u00a0Nature Collection<\/strong> that boasts a list of intriguing new features. If last year\u2019s offering of Special Edition<\/strong> models was based on new designs like the Rado True Stratum<\/strong><\/span><\/a> and the Rado True Phospho<\/strong><\/span><\/a> for example, Rado<\/strong> has this year instead enhanced the standard collection design by adding new color hues and aesthetic new finishes to symbolize the main elements of nature: the leaves<\/strong>, the earth<\/strong> and the oceans<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Rado-True-Thin-Line-Nature-green-1\"The ceramic one-piece case is thus presented in new colors and dials you might appreciate much more in the gardens of Villa Gamberaia<\/strong> than in any meeting room at Baselworld 2018<\/strong>. Rado<\/strong> has in summary created three versions: a green<\/strong>, a blue<\/strong> and a brown<\/strong> one respectively.<\/p>\n

In the first two cases, the dial is mother<\/strong>\u2013of<\/strong>\u2013pearl<\/strong> with a leaf<\/strong>\u2013like<\/strong> texture and a sea<\/strong>\u2013wave<\/strong> pattern respectively, whereas the brown ceramic version<\/strong> features a diamond<\/strong>\u2013dust<\/strong> dial. The Rado<\/strong> logo, placed on the glass, looks like it\u2019s somehow floating over the dial. The \u201cramage\u201d effect on the dial of the Rado True Thinline\u00a0Nature green<\/strong> is, in particular, simply spectacular.<\/p>\n

\"Rado-True-Thin-Line-Nature-brown\"Rado<\/strong> is not new to these experiments. Viceversa, as I stressed more than once, it represents an unstoppable laboratory of new ideas and innovative materials, in the constant search for the out-of-ordinary. Another example of this on-going process is the Rado Ceramica<\/strong>, recently revamped by Konstantin Grcic<\/strong>, whose latest model was displayed inside the rooms of Villa Gamberaia<\/strong> alongside\u00a0the models that have made the history of this collection.<\/p>\n

Kasia Smutniak, Rado\u2019s muse<\/h2>\n

Kasia<\/strong> appeared in our video and added a touch of beauty and elegance. Her pure, classical\u00a0beauty has been the perfect match to Villa<\/strong> Gamberaia<\/strong>, the nature of its gardens and the True Thinline\u00a0Nature<\/strong> she was wearing when filming.<\/p>\n

\"Rado-Grandi-Giardini-italiani-Event-Breschan-Kasia-smutniak\"She officially opened the celebrations with CEO<\/strong> Matthias Breschan<\/strong>, greeting the participants from an open room, placed inside the villa, where all the 2018<\/strong> novelties and some vintage pieces, were collected.<\/p>\n

What to expect more from Rado?<\/h2>\n

Rado<\/strong> has, with the organization of this event and this new and exhilarating collaboration with Grandi Giardini Italiani<\/strong>, proven\u00a0once again \u00a0they have a different vision, that sets them\u00a0apart from the competition, when it comes to look\u00a0for new sources of inspiration for their watch collections.<\/p>\n
