The world circuit of the Red Bull Air\u00a0Race<\/strong> has its\u00a0 official time-keeper in Hamilton<\/strong> watches that features\u00a0its own race team\u00a0and shares the same pioneering spirit with Red Bull<\/strong>\u00a0and aviation in its genes.<\/p>\n

The racing circuit was positioned\u00a0in an extremely\u00a0convenient position and the spectators could fully\u00a0enjoy the maneuvers performed by the brave pilots on\u00a0one-propeller-planes with boxer engines weighing around 700 kilos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The aircrafts darted\u00a0a few times above the city releasing blue<\/strong>, white<\/strong> and red<\/strong> trails in a\u00a0light blue sky.<\/p>\n

The entrance to the Air Race<\/strong> area on the Croisette<\/strong> also\u00a0represented the entrance into the world of Red Bull<\/strong> and Hamilton<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"red-bull-air-race-hamilton-cannes-2018-4\"On\u00a0the left hand side was a Formula 1<\/strong> car from the Austrian team, while\u00a0on the right hand side was the Hamilton<\/strong> stand with all the brand\u2019s\u00a0special collections that, this year, have been increasingly geared\u00a0towards the world of aviation and sports timing. A testament to this\u00a0was the release of an extremely precise quartz chronograph \u2013 the\u00a0Hamilton Khaki Pilot Chrono Quartz<\/strong> that the ambassadors of the\u00a0Hamilton<\/strong>\u00a0team were wearing wrapped around their wrists, while\u00a0performing maneuvers between the poles.<\/p>\n

The sportsman told us some anecdotes and\u00a0details about his training as a professional Air<\/strong> Race<\/strong> pilot \u2013 some of\u00a0the aspects of this topic actually reminded me of the training\u00a0followed by Formula 1 drivers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Cannes\"During these three days I enjoyed\u00a0strolling around Cannes<\/strong> in the\u00a0morning, while photographing both watches in a city that is famous for\u00a0its Film Festival<\/strong> as well as for the \u201ctrompe l\u2019oeil<\/em>\u201d decorations painted\u00a0across the city\u2019s historic buildings that make Cannes<\/strong> a fascinating\u00a0place and a colorful location, as the event organized by Red Bull<\/strong> and\u00a0Hamilton<\/strong> fully showed.<\/p>\n

\"Cannes-1\"My only regret is that I didn\u2019t win the draw\u00a0for a ride on a two-seater-plane in the company of one of the Air Race<\/strong>\u00a0pilots \u2013 an experience that I really hope to enjoy as soon as\u00a0possible, since I love both the world of aeronautics and speed. Maybe\u00a0on that occasion I will bring\u00a0along a GoPro<\/strong> as my witness to all the\u00a0maneuvers. A big thank you goes to Hamilton<\/strong> for the fantastic\u00a0organization of the event, from the choice of the hotel (the Radisson\u00a0Blue Hotel<\/strong> from where you can enjoy a 360<\/strong>\u2013degree<\/strong>\u2013view<\/strong> of the whole\u00a0city and the waterfront) and for the\u00a0enthusiasm that the European team\u00a0put in organizing the event \u2013\u00a0 an enthusiasm that is not obvious and,\u00a0above all, enthralling.<\/p>\n
