These timepieces are two brand new releases that bring together the best of the <strong>Montblanc<\/strong> manufacturing skills and two types of dial that will definitely catch the attention of watch-making and vintage chronographs fans; the <strong>panda dial<\/strong> and the <strong>reverse panda dial<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"montblanc-timewalker-rally-timer-chronograph-limited-edition-100\"><span style=\"color:#000000\">MONTBLANC TimeWalker Rally Timer Chronograph Limited Edition 100<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">The <strong>Montblanc<\/strong> <strong>TimeWalker Rally Timer Chronograph Limited Edition 100<\/strong> replicates the surprisingly successful and unexpected <strong>2017 SIHH<\/strong> experience, when <strong>Montblanc<\/strong> presented a very beautiful chronograph with a case that can be rotated by <strong>180 degrees<\/strong> to make the timepiece more readable when driving. The case can be detached from the lugs so that it can be used as a dashboard (or desktop) clock; something that was quite popular in the past, when chronographs were used during car races.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Montblanc-Rally-Timer-Chronograph-Limited-Edition-100-3\" src=\"https:\/\/www.horbiter.com\/media\/uploads\/Montblanc-Rally-Timer-Chronograph-Limited-Edition-100-3.jpg\" style=\"width:100%\" title=\"Montblanc-Rally-Timer-Chronograph-Limited-Edition-100-3\">\u00a0It is\u00a0a watch that blends together the flavour of those classic single-button chronographs from the past that are no longer available in brands\u2019 catalogues with the precision and prestige of the <strong>MB M16.29 calibre<\/strong> that can be seen through the case-back. The calibre features a so-called <em>devil\u2019s horn bridge<\/em> inherited from the historic calibres crafted by <strong>Minerva<\/strong> (below is a picture of the first version that we took last January).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Montblanc-Rally-Timer-Counter-case-back-Minerva\" src=\"https:\/\/www.horbiter.com\/media\/uploads\/Montblanc-Rally-Timer-Counter-case-back-Minerva.jpg\" style=\"width:100%\" title=\"Montblanc-Rally-Timer-Counter-case-back-Minerva\">If compared to the first release (the Montblanc Rally Timer Counter Limited Edition), the <strong>Montblanc<\/strong> <strong>TimeWalker Rally Timer Chronograph Limited Edition 100<\/strong> sports a <strong>reverse panda dial<\/strong> with white counters on a black background and a red pointy central chronographic hand that is typical of the <strong>Minerva<\/strong> chrono calibres. The <strong>Minerva<\/strong> manufacture\u00a0was famous for its extremely precise calibres, in <strong>1916<\/strong> already it was one of the first manufactures\u00a0to craft a calibre that could measure a <strong>hundredth of a second<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Montblanc-Rally-Timer-Chronograph-Limited-Edition-100-2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.horbiter.com\/media\/uploads\/Montblanc-Rally-Timer-Chronograph-Limited-Edition-100-2.jpg\" style=\"width:100%\" title=\"Montblanc-Rally-Timer-Chronograph-Limited-Edition-100-2\">The <strong>Montblanc MB M16.29<\/strong> calibre is the heir to the <strong>17.29 calibre<\/strong> that was developed in the 30s and it fuses together exceptional finishing lines that have been entirely hand-made (like a <strong>C\u00f4tes de Gen\u00e9ve<\/strong> decoration), bevelled inner corners, a circular grain\u00e8 motif and the chamfering with exceptional technical features, like the chrono function that is activated through a column wheel, the silver main plate, the <strong>Phillips<\/strong> curve spring and the big balance wheel running at a frequency of <strong>2,5Hz<\/strong> with a \"<em>col<\/em>\u2013<em>de<\/em>\u2013<em>cygne<\/em>\u201d fine adjusting system. The titanium case measures <strong>50mm<\/strong> and it features a double finishing, it is polished and knurled and its central part has undergone a black <strong>DLC<\/strong>\u2013<strong>treatment<\/strong> like the winding crown of the manual calibre. Like for the first edition, only <strong>100 pieces <\/strong>of this chronograph will be released.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"montblanc-timewalker-manufacture-chronograph\">Montblanc <span style=\"color:#000000\">TimeWalker Manufacture Chronograph<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">With the <strong>Montblanc<\/strong> <strong>TimeWalker Manufacture<\/strong>, the brand introduces us to two interesting innovations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Montblanc-TimeWalker-case-side\" src=\"https:\/\/www.horbiter.com\/media\/uploads\/Montblanc-TimeWalker-case-side.jpg\" style=\"width:100%\" title=\"Montblanc-TimeWalker-case-side\">The classic <strong>Timewalker<\/strong> case \u2013 characterized by a case-middle with slots extending up to the curved lugs (above \u2013 current collection) \u2013 is coupled with a <strong>panda dial<\/strong>, a rally strap made of antiqued calf leather in a brown shade and crafted by the <strong>Montblanc<\/strong> <strong>Leather Division<\/strong> headquartered in <strong>Florence<\/strong>, and a new in-house built calibre (reference MB25.10) with its classic <strong>V<\/strong> (3-6-9) layout of the chronographic counters on the dial.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Montblanc-TimeWalker-manufacture-chronograph-2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.horbiter.com\/media\/uploads\/Montblanc-TimeWalker-manufacture-chronograph-2.jpg\" style=\"width:100%\" title=\"Montblanc-TimeWalker-manufacture-chronograph-2\">Within the <strong>43mm<\/strong> case lays an automatic movement running at a frequency of <strong>4Hz<\/strong> with up to <strong>46 hours of power reserve<\/strong> and a chronograph with a column wheel. The knurled crown is made of stainless steel and has undergone a <strong>black<\/strong> <strong>DLC<\/strong>\u2013<strong>treatment<\/strong>; it matches the black ceramics bezel with an engraved tachymetric scale.
