From then onwards, <strong>Omega<\/strong> has supplied the <strong>Solar Impulse<\/strong>\u2018s team with a test bench and other devices to further develop the project.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.horbiter.com\/media\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Omega-Speedmaster-Skywalker-X-33-Solar-Impulse-cinque.jpg\" rel=\"prettyPhoto\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.horbiter.com\/media\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Omega-Speedmaster-Skywalker-X-33-Solar-Impulse-cinque.jpg\" alt=\"Omega Speedmaster Skywalker X 33 Solar Impulse cinque\"><\/a>Today, just one month ahead of the aircraft\u2019s take off, <strong>Omega<\/strong> has unveiled the <strong>Omega Speedmaster Skywalker X-33 Solar Impulse<\/strong>, dedicated to this amazing mission. Inspired by the <strong>Speedmaster Skywalker X-33<\/strong> unveiled at <strong>Baselworld 2014<\/strong>, the <strong>Omega Speedmaster Skywalker X 33 Solar Impulse<\/strong> features a <strong>Grade 2 Titanium 45mm<\/strong> wide case and a bezel with a blue ceramic inlay covered with green <strong>Super-Luminova<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.horbiter.com\/media\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Omega-Speedmaster-Skywalker-X-33-Solar-Impulse-uno.jpg\" rel=\"prettyPhoto\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.horbiter.com\/media\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Omega-Speedmaster-Skywalker-X-33-Solar-Impulse-uno.jpg\" alt=\"Omega Speedmaster Skywalker X 33 Solar Impulse uno\"><\/a>It is an <strong>analog-digital<\/strong> timepiece powered by a multifunction quartz caliber, the <strong>5619<\/strong>, that displays hour, minutes and seconds in three different timezones simultaneously, has 3 alarms, is a chronograph and last but not least boasts a perpetual calendar with day, date, month, year and week.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.horbiter.com\/media\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Omega-Speedmaster-Skywalker-X-33-Solar-Impulse-tre.jpg\" rel=\"prettyPhoto\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.horbiter.com\/media\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Omega-Speedmaster-Skywalker-X-33-Solar-Impulse-tre.jpg\" alt=\"Omega Speedmaster Skywalker X 33 Solar Impulse tre\"><\/a>It has, in addition, the <strong>PET<\/strong> (phased elapsed time) and the <strong>MET<\/strong> (mission elapsed time) functions to help pilots calculate the time elapsed from the start of the mission. The <strong>Omega Speedmaster Skywalker X-33 Solar Impulse<\/strong> has been certified by the <strong>ESA<\/strong> (European Space Agency) and will be made in a limited edition of <strong>1924 pieces<\/strong> (thus celebrating the year of the first ever flight around the globe) and comes with a blue and green polyammide strap.
