IWC<\/strong> debuts a new limited edition of the Big Pilot Watch, its Pilot collection\u2019s flagship timepiece. It is the IWC Big Pilot Watch Edition Le Petit Prince<\/strong>, named after the famous novel written by legendary aviator\u00a0Antoine de Saint-Exup\u00e8ry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

The IWC Big Pilot Watch Edition Le Petit Prince<\/strong> is the fifth Pilot\u2019s watch in a row to feature the \u201cLe Petit Prince<\/strong>\u201d hallmark, after the brand has launched two perpetual calendars<\/strong>, a chrono<\/strong> and a Mark XVII<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n

They all boast some exclusive aesthetical caracteristics that immediately stand out if you place the limited edition wirstwatch alongside the standard model.<\/p>\n\n\n

Big Arabic Rhodium-plated applied numerals, hour, minute and second hands with a new design, an oversized luminous triangle at 12 and a different minute track are, alongside a midnight blue dial, the main features of the Edition Le Petit Prince<\/strong>, you may see below in an image taken from the official IWC<\/strong> forum.<\/p>\n\n\n

Last but not least, as it is with any other model from this series, the alligator leather strap has been replaced by a brown calf leather one that gives this Big Pilot a vintage touch.<\/p>\n\n\n

The IWC Big Pilot Watch Edition Le Petit Prince<\/strong> will be made in just 1.000 pieces<\/strong>; no information yet about its retail price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is equipped with manufactured caliber 51111<\/strong>, mechanical automatic with Pellaton<\/strong> winding mechanism that ensures a 7 day<\/strong> power reserve, has a Glucydur<\/strong> balance, a soft iron inner case to protect it against magnetic fields and is encased into a 46mm<\/strong> wide and 16mm<\/strong> thick stainless steel case. It retails for 13.700<\/strong>\u20ac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
