The\u00a0<strong>IWC Pilot\u2019s Watches Saint-Exup\u00e9ry Edition The Last Flight<\/strong> is, again, another addition to the <strong>Chrono<\/strong> <strong>Spitfire<\/strong> collection (with no date).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I thought the series had ended with the <em>\u201cJu-Air\u201d <\/em>limited edition\u00a0but I\u2019ve just found out that, beginning of July, <strong>IWC<\/strong> has released three limited edition timepieces named after that tragic last flight done by legendary aviator <a title=\"Antoine de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Antoine_de_Saint-Exup%C3%A9ry\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Antoine de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry<\/strong><\/a> in <strong>1944<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"\/media\/IWC_Pilots_Watches_Saint-Exupery_Edition_The_Last_Flight_due\" src=\"\/media\/uploads\/IWC_Pilots_Watches_Saint-Exupery_Edition_The_Last_Flight_due_gCePMO1.jpg\" alt=\"\">The\u00a0<strong>IWC Pilot\u2019s Watches Saint-Exup\u00e9ry Edition The Last Flight<\/strong> is the very first IWC to adopt <strong>brown ceramic<\/strong> on its watches, made possible by employing silicon nitride as <strong>IWC<\/strong> claims.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These three versions, all featuring a <strong>46<\/strong>mm wide case, are powered by <strong>caliber 89361<\/strong> with column wheel operated chronograph and fly back function: ceramics and titanium (<strong>1700<\/strong> pieces), ceramic and rose gold (<strong>170<\/strong>), ceramics and platinum (<strong>17<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"iwc-pilots-watches-saint-exupery-edition-the-last-flight-tre\" src=\"\/media\/CACHE\/images\/uploads\/iwc-pilots-watches-saint-exupery-edition-the-last-flight-tre.c17477ba6b05.jpg\" alt=\"iwc-pilots-watches-saint-exupery-edition-the-last-flight-tre\">The brown ceramic and the calfskin leather strap with white stitching give these watches a 40s Pilot\u2019s watch allure. No information yet about retail pricing for them at all.
