Introducing the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Acoustic Research

/

Eight years of research and development, that have involved watchmakers, the university of Lausanne and music makers to create the perfect chiming device. This is the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Acoustic Research, the new concept watch the manufacture from Le Brassus is about to unveil at the SIHH 2015 and does represent the ultimate minute repeater. Audemars Piguet claims they got an acoustic quality, with their new chime, never heard before in high end watchmaking, coupled to a very intense pitch and an almost silent striking mechanism. We are as curious as you probably are to go hands on with this masterpiece that sets new standards in a minute repeater making. The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Acoustic Research has a 44mm wide titanium case and is equipped with an in-house hand wind caliber featuring a minute repeater, a tourbillon and a column wheel chronograph (whose 30-minute counter is placed at 3).
