Introducing the Bremont Kingsman Special Edition watch

Introducing the Bremont Kingsman Special Edition watch

/

Next February will mark the release of one of the most exciting movies of early 2015, and one of the coolest, most appealing and somewhat funniest partnerships in the world of watchmaking. The upcoming film “Kingsman: The Secret Service” will star Colin Firth, Samuel L.Jackson, Michael Caine and the somewhat new acting recruit Taron Egerton as the Kingsmen, agents from a super-secret British intelligence agency.

Each of them will be wearing a Bremont Kingsman Special Edition, made exclusively by Bremont for director Matthew Vaughn‘s film. It is a special version of the Bremont ALT1-WT World Timer, one of the coolest military inspired complicated chronographs by the British brand.

It is a very robust world timer, both for its case, which is 43mm wide and 16mm thick, DLC treated on the carrure, as well as for the mechanical caliber that adopts a Glucydur balance wheel.

In the film Colin Firth sports a rose gold Bremont Kingsman Special Edition with an alligator strap, while the young selected trainees wear a stainless steel version, with a DLC coating on the case and a NATO strap; the trainers wear a stainless steel model with a calfskin leather strap.

The funniest thing, as I mentioned at the beginning, is that Nick English, co-founder of Bremont, has a cameo in the film with, of course, this timepiece on his wrist. By now Bremont is undoubtedly a point of reference among British watch brands, and one that has realized some of the nicest projects among all brands when it comes to pure creativity and authenticity, especially with the recent Lightweight Type E (you may read about it by clicking HERE).

The three versions of the Bremont Kingsman Special Edition will all be available exclusively at the brand’s boutique and sold, on line, through the renowned menswear retailer MR Porter.
